{"id":37054,"date":"2021-10-05T12:54:18","date_gmt":"2021-10-05T10:54:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.inovallee.com\/?p=37054"},"modified":"2021-10-05T13:21:46","modified_gmt":"2021-10-05T11:21:46","slug":"blue-ortho-rejoint-inovallee-pour-poursuivre-sa-croissance-et-simplante-a-arteparc","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.inovallee.com\/en\/blue-ortho-rejoint-inovallee-pour-poursuivre-sa-croissance-et-simplante-a-arteparc\/","title":{"rendered":"Blue Ortho rejoint inovall\u00e9e pour poursuivre sa croissance et s\u2019implante \u00e0 Arteparc\u00a0"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>La belle histoire d\u2019une startup Medtech atypique, 100% bootstrap et r\u00e9solument internationale<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>C\u2019est en 2008 qu\u2019Anthony Boyer, apr\u00e8s plus de 10 ans d\u2019exp\u00e9rience en implants chirurgicaux acquise au sein de Praxim (rachet\u00e9e depuis par Corin), St\u00e9phane Lavall\u00e9e, serial entrepreneur sucessfull sur le secteur des Medtechs, et un chirurgien am\u00e9ricain cr\u00e9ent Blue Ortho, \u00e0 partir d\u2019une technologie deeptech issue du laboratoire TIMC.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab\u00a0<em>Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 une strat\u00e9gie focalis\u00e9e sur le march\u00e9 de l\u2019orthop\u00e9die du genou et de l\u2019\u00e9paule, mais aussi une approche partenariale forte avec les fabricants d\u2019implants, nous avons r\u00e9ussi \u00e0 nous d\u00e9velopper tr\u00e8s rapidement, et sans aucune lev\u00e9e de fonds\u00a0<\/em>\u00bb, souligne Anthony Boyer.<\/p>\n<p>En effet, d\u00e8s 2009, le premier partenariat strat\u00e9gique est conclu avec <a href=\"https:\/\/www.exactechgps.com\/\">Exactech<\/a> et permet \u00e0 Blue Ortho d\u2019atteindre tr\u00e8s rapidement ses premiers march\u00e9s avec son premier produit destin\u00e9 \u00e0 la chirurgie du genou. En 2015, apr\u00e8s 7 ans de fian\u00e7ailles heureuses, Exactech rach\u00e8te Blue Ortho, qui devient alors une filiale d\u2019un des leaders de l\u2019implant orthop\u00e9dique cr\u00e9\u00e9 en 1985 et c\u00f4t\u00e9 en bourse.<\/p>\n<p>En 2017, Blue Ortho attaque les march\u00e9s europ\u00e9en et am\u00e9ricain avec un second produit pour la chirurgie de l\u2019\u00e9paule.<\/p>\n<p>Finalement, Exactech sort du Nasdaq en 2018 pour \u00eatre elle-m\u00eame rachet\u00e9e par TPG Capital.<\/p>\n<p>En quelques ann\u00e9es, Blue Ortho a ainsi connu une tr\u00e8s forte croissance, passant de 15 \u00e0 plus de 75 collaborateurs, avec plus de 300 syst\u00e8mes implant\u00e9s dans 18 pays et un chiffre d\u2019affaires r\u00e9alis\u00e9 principalement aux US (70%) et en Asie (20%).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Le choix d\u2019Arteparc sur inovall\u00e9e pour fid\u00e9liser ses talents<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-37084 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/www.inovallee.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/blue-ortho2-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.inovallee.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/blue-ortho2-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.inovallee.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/blue-ortho2-768x576.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.inovallee.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/blue-ortho2-1024x768.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.inovallee.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/blue-ortho2-1536x1152.jpg 1536w, https:\/\/www.inovallee.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/blue-ortho2.jpg 2016w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/>Lanc\u00e9e \u00e0 Biopolis, la startup s\u2019\u00e9tait implant\u00e9e \u00e0 Gi\u00e8res dans les locaux de Floralis puis avait essaim\u00e9 tout autour dans plusieurs b\u00e2timents. C\u2019est pour soutenir cette croissance et r\u00e9unir ses \u00e9quipes que Blue Ortho a choisi de rejoindre inovall\u00e9e dans le tout nouveau complexe Arteparc d\u00e8s le mois de juillet.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab\u00a0<em>J\u2019ai rapidement nou\u00e9 une relation de confiance avec le groupe Artea comme avec Laure Ferrier. Je suis all\u00e9 visiter l\u2019Arteparc de Lille et j\u2019ai \u00e9t\u00e9 s\u00e9duit par le concept. Rejoindre la technopole inovall\u00e9e et a fortori au sein d\u2019un p\u00f4le comme Arteparc est un gage d\u2019attractivit\u00e9 pour Blue Ortho. Ce choix a d\u2019ailleurs fait l\u2019objet d\u2019un vote unanime de tous nos collaborateurs\u00a0!<\/em>\u00a0\u00bb, souligne Anthony Boyer.<\/p>\n<p>Il faut dire que le b\u00e2timent r\u00e9pondait \u00e0 toutes les attentes, avec un RDC enti\u00e8rement consacr\u00e9 \u00e0 la production, et des \u00e9tages r\u00e9serv\u00e9s aux bureaux et salles de r\u00e9union.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Une technologie de pointe associant hardware et software pour la chirurgie assist\u00e9e par ordinateur des implants orthop\u00e9diques<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>La proposition de valeur de Blue Ortho repose sur un principe simple et pour autant essentiel : il s\u2019agit de fournir aux chirurgiens orthop\u00e9distes une solution de visualisation temps r\u00e9el 3D leur permettant de suivre au millim\u00e8tre et au degr\u00e9 pr\u00e8s la position de leurs outils de chirurgie et de leurs implants sur le patient pendant l\u2019op\u00e9ration.<\/p>\n<p>Pour l\u2019assistance \u00e0 la proth\u00e8se d\u2019\u00e9paule par exemple, les \u00e9quipes de Blue Ortho commencent par r\u00e9aliser une reconstruction 3D de l\u2019articulation du patient \u00e0 partir d\u2019images scanner. Cette \u00e9tape est enti\u00e8rement r\u00e9alis\u00e9e par Blue Ortho dans ses locaux. Puis Blue Ortho con\u00e7oit, d\u00e9veloppe et produit des capteurs d\u2019angles et de distance qui sont positionn\u00e9s pendant l\u2019op\u00e9ration sur l\u2019articulation du patient, sur les outils du chirurgien, pendant que des cam\u00e9ras localisent en temps r\u00e9el la position des capteurs. Le chirurgien dispose alors d\u2019une console vid\u00e9o, sur laquelle il peut visualiser son geste en temps r\u00e9el, et ajuster au mieux la proth\u00e8se.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab <em>Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 notre technologie, le chirurgien ne se contente plus uniquement de regarder le champ op\u00e9ratoire qui, par d\u00e9finition est peu analysable, mais dispose d\u2019une v\u00e9ritable vision augment\u00e9e sur l\u2019\u00e9cran, avec des mesures pr\u00e9cises pour ajuster son geste<\/em> \u00bb, note Anthony Boyer.<\/p>\n<p>Une solution compl\u00e8te qui requiert des comp\u00e9tences techniques pointues dans tous les domaines, et notamment logicielles\u00a0: bas niveau et embarqu\u00e9, mais aussi haut niveau autour de la simulation num\u00e9rique 3D.
